Roundup: Mead wins Inland Empire golf

SPOKANE -- Medalist Erick Henderson fired a 3-under-par 69 to help Mead win the team title at the Inland Empire Invitational boys golf tournament Monday at the Spokane Country Club.

Walla Walla's Cody Horton finished tied for fourth with a 75, helping the Blue Devils finish third in the team scoring.

Richland's Zach Richardson also tied for fourth with a 76, and the Bombers were eighth.

Medalist Liz Tikriti scored an 80 to lead West Valley to the team victory in a CBL 3A pod match at par-65 Tri-City Country Club.

Hanford's Michelle Bobbie was the highest Mid-Columbia placer, taking fourth with an 88.
