Burbank Diamondbacks win tournament

Corey Brundridge and Matt Mason threw back-to-back no-hitters to lead the Burbank Diamondbacks to the championship of their own senior Babe Ruth Woodbat Tournament.

Brundridge struck out 14 in a 12-0 win over the Richland Tigers in the semifinals. Then Mason K'd 11 in a 9-0 victory over the Richland Raptors in the championship.

-- Kennewick's Trux French went 2-for-3 and drove in Team Rainier's only run in a 2-1 loss to Team Adams in the championship of the All-State Baseball Series at Parker Field in Yakima.

Richland's Brett Jacobs went 2-for-3 and belted a two-run homer to lead Team Baker to a 15-0 victory over Team St. Helens in the consolation game.

-- Devan Willis hit a two-run single in the sixth inning, but that would be all for the Twin City Titans as they lost 17-2 to Chaffey Baseball of Seattle at Husky Stadium.

-- Five different players has RBIs to help the Pasco Sun Devils AAA American Legion team win the Pepsi Pak tournament title with a 7-6 win over the Yakima Beetles in Selah.

Lee Gomez had two hits, including a home run and a double in Pasco's 8-7 semifinal win over the Vancouver Aces.
