Baseball roundup: River View records crossover win

Adam Dickinson hit two of River View's four home runs as the Panthers took advantage of Zillah's depleted pitching staff to roll to a 14-0 victory in an SCAC district crossover in Finley.

The Leopards had to win twice Friday to survive a West tiebreaker.

Cody Wilson also homered and drove in five runs for the Panthers (14-7), who travel to West champion Naches Valley on Tuesday for a first-round game.

CLE ELUM -- Dillon Byrd hit a three-run homer in the second inning to help back Anthony Cantu's two-hitter as Columbia (Burbank) won its SCAC district crossover to earn a spot in the main draw.

The Coyotes (9-12) travel to SCAC East champion Connell on Tuesday for a first-round matchup.
