Baseball oundup: Richland holds off Kamiakin

Cody Shepherd hit a two-run homer in the first inning and earned the save on the mound as the Richland baseball team defeated Kamiakin 5-3 in nonleague action Friday at Bomber Field.

Shawn O'Brien and Mitch Larson each homered for the Braves.

Trevor Brain's sacrifice fly in the ninth brought home the winning run as Pasco won at Southridge in nonleague play.

Steven Goulet hit a two-run double in the sixth and a two-run, game-tying single in the seventh as the Bulldogs (8-4) rallied from a 5-0 deficit.
