Softball

Nina Gonzalez, Jr., Othello

She went 2-0 in three starts as a pitcher, and in four games she went 9-for-14 with four home runs, including a game-winning two-run shot vs. Lake Stevens.

Golf

Alex Moore, Sr., Hanford

He was medalist at three tournaments last week, shooting a 3-under 62 at Tri-City Country Club, a 1-under 71 at Apple Tree and a 5-under 67 at Canyon Lakes.

Track & Field

Cori Nickerson, Soph., Kamiakin

He won the 400 meters in a season-best 52.06 seconds to help the Braves sweep a CBL 3A meet at Eastmont, then won the 400 to help them win the Keith Jewett Invite.

Baseball

Ryan Ricard, Sr., Columbia (Burbank)

He tossed a six-hitter, striking out eight, to beat Connell 4-1, then scattered four hits and struck out five in a 3-2 victory over River View.

Soccer

Jesus Solis, Soph., Sunnyside

He scored the Grizzlies' only goal in regulation and also tallied in a shootout win over Southridge, then scored a goal in a win over Eastmont.

Tennis

Ali and Allan Ta, Sr., Kennewick

Twin brothers won their No. 1 doubles match at a league dual with Kamiakin, then followed up with a victory in the No. 1 doubles division at the Capital Invite, winning the title match in three sets.
