Steven Gonzalez, Sr., Kiona-Benton
In three games in the SCAC district tournament, he went 7-for-11 with a home run and two doubles to lead the Bears to their first district title since 1996.
Softball
Talissa Huntsman, Jr., Richland
She tossed three complete-game shutouts, allowing only 12 hits in 21 innings with 25 strikeouts, and was 5-for-11 at the plate with two doubles.
Tennis
Elizabeth Lougee, Sr., Umatilla
She defeated Riverside's Amy Anfinson 6-4, 6-0 in the championship match to win the Oregon 4A/3A/2A/1A Special District 3 girls singles title.
Soccer
Emmanuel Martinez, Fr., Pasco
He made three saves in shutting out Davis in the CBL 4A district final, then had three saves in a 1-0 victory over University in the regional final.
Track & Field
Kayla McKeirnan, Sr., Richland
She won the 100, 200 and 400 titles at the CBL 4A districts -- the 100 (12.38) and 400 (56.62) were area bests -- and anchored the winning 4x100.
Golf
KyLee Schmunk, Sr., Lind-Ritzville
She won the District 7-9 B championship, shooting rounds of 100 and 96 at Liberty Lake Golf Course in Spokane.
