Volleyball

Eva Grassl, Jr., Connell

Middle blocker had eight kills in an SCAC East victory over Wahluke, then had 11 kills and five aces in a road win over Columbia (Burbank) as Eagles stayed undefeated.

Cross country

Erin Hegarty, Fr., Hanford

She led the Falcons to the team title at the Connell Invitational, winning the 5-kilometer race by 44 seconds over Pasco's Janette Rodriguez in 18:59.

Swimming

Sarah Hicks, Sr., Walla Walla

She won the 200-yard individual medley and 100 breaststroke against Moses Lake, then won two individual events in winning the Tri-Cities Pentathlon.

Football

Will Hoppes, Soph., Tri-Cities Prep

He was 23-of-47 passing for 310 yards and five touchdowns, and he also ran for 91 yards and a score as the Jaguars defeated intercity rival Liberty Christian.

Soccer

Julissa Rodriguez, Sr., Kennewick

She scored four goals in a nonleague victory over Moses Lake, then had the game-tying goal in regulation and the clinching shootout goal vs. Hanford.
