Swimming
Kaitlyn Broersma, Jr., Sunnyside
A Sunnyside Christian student who swims for the Grizzlies, she won the 3A district title in the 100-yard breaststroke and was second in the 50 freestyle.
Cross country
Emily Butler, Fr., Southridge
She finished fourth at the 3A Eastern Regionals in Spokane and was just a second out of third place. She is just the second Suns girl ever to qualify for the state meet.
Soccer
Kati Lucas, Sr., Richland
Midfielder had a goal and two assists in the Bombers' 3-0 district semifinal win over Wenatchee to clinch a regional berth. She has 13 goals and 10 assists on the year.
Football
Robbie Mitchell, Sr., Kennewick
He had six catches for 165 yards and three touchdowns, and he also made two interceptions vs. Hanford -- including the game-sealer with 1:25 to play.
Volleyball
Kristen Peterson, Sr., Liberty Christian
She had 13 kills, 29 digs and six aces in a win over Touchet, then had 17 kills, five blocks, 21 digs and two aces in wins over Tri-Cities Prep and Touchet as LC won subdistricts.
