Evan Anglesey, Sr., Kamiakin
Tailback rushed for 139 yards and three touchdowns on 28 carries to lead the Braves to a 45-10 victory over Hanford in the 3A regional playoffs.
Soccer
Jamie Arthurs, Sr., Richland
Goalie made nine saves, including stopping a penaltykick in second-half stoppage time, to help Bombers beat Mead 1-0 and win 4A Eastern Regional title.
Volleyball
Marcy Hjellum, Jr., Kamiakin
Outside hitter had 13 kills and 12 digs in a 3A regional semifinal win over East Valley, then had 19 kills and 19 digs as Braves beat Hanford for first regional title.
Cross country
Humberto Jimenez, Sr., Royal
Ran only four races this season because of injury but still edged his twin brother, Rigoberto, at the finish to win the 1A boys state title in 16:18.
