He broke 4 minutes in winning the 1,500 meters at Saturday's Kiwanis Invitational, then came back and won the 3,000.
Baseball
Clayton Homme, Jr., Southridge
He went 6-for-8 with two homers and five RBIs in a sweep of Eastmont, then was 2-for-4 with two RBIs in a loss to West Valley.
Softball
Katie King, Sr., Richland
She tossed a pair of one-hitters, striking out 18 in a win over Wenatchee, and also picked up a save against Walla Walla.
Soccer
Emmanuel Martinez, Soph., Pasco
He made two saves in regulation and one in a shootout to beat Davis, then stopped a pair of breakaways in a shutout of Eisenhower.
Tennis
Janell Talbot, Jr., Richland
She handed Wenatchee's Nicole Barnhart her first defeat in a CBL 4A No. 1 singles match, 6-4, 7-6 (0).
