She won the shot put (area-best throw of 38 feet, 2 inches) and discus (112-8) and was second in the javelin (123-11) at the Davis Invite.
Softball
Nina Gonzalez, Sr., Othello
She struck out 14 and tossed a one-hitter against Ellensburg; hit two home runs and six doubles during the week.
Tennis
Curtis Lan, Jr., Hanford
He defeated Walla Walla's Ricardo Hepp 6-4, 7-5 to capture the No. 2 boys singles title at the 28th annual Tri-City Invitational.
Golf
Jeff Neher, Sr., Walla Walla
He shared medalist honors at the Central Washington Invite, shooting a 2-over 74 at Apple Tree to lead the Blue Devils to the team title.
Baseball
Arty Reyes, Soph., Warden
He struck out 24 batters and allowed three runs in a pair of complete-game wins against Connell and River View.
Soccer
Saul Roman, Jr., Wahluke
Midfielder had a goal and an assist in a win over 2007 1A state champ Highland, then had two goals and an assist in a win over Warden.
