| Gary Wolcott's "Mr. Movie" column has appeared in the Tri-City Herald since 1992. The Tri-City native now lives in Portland, Ore., and watches about 250 movies each year. He believes movies are made to be seen on theater screens and should be seen there and not on television screens. Have a question for Mr. Movie? Click on "Add Comment" below. |
Yes, I have EARTH tickets.
However, I need you to send me your name so I can put you on my list. Each ticket admits two people.
You must be at the theater early. The line will be huge, and if you're not in line early — and probably around 5 or 5:30 p.m. at the latest — you probably won't get in. That's my experience with screenings, and I don't see that one in Tri-Cities will be much different than Portland or Seattle.
I will meet you in front of the theater at 6 p.m. and give you your pass. Hopefully, you will recognize me. Even though you're meeting me at 6 p.m. you will want to be in line. Someone will save your place so you can meet me when I get there.
Thanks.
Write me back if you have questions, but please be patient if I don't reply immediately.
