WSU safety pleads guilty to misdemeanors

Washington State football safety Xavier Hicks has pleaded guilty to two gross misdemeanors after being charged with two felonies in February.

Hicks pleaded guilty to attempted third-degree assault for putting the contact lenses of teammate-roommate Grady Maxwell in rubbing alcohol after a dispute over an unpaid cable TV bill, and also to credit-card theft.
