WSU takes on Portland at Cougar Diamond Classic
The Washington State Cougars take a break from the Pac-12 Conference baseball wars today with a nonleague contest against the University of Prtland Pilots at Gesa Stadium in Pasco. The second Cougar Diamond Classic presented by Toyota of Tri-Cities will start with the first pitch at 6 p.m.

Washington State athletic director Bill Moos announced Monday that Bud Nameck and Shane McWashington will team up with longtime Cougars football announcer Bob Robertson in the radio booth beginning this fall.
