Preview: Stockton Lightning (4-8) vs. Tri-Cities Fever (1-11)

KENNEWICK -- Here is a preview of today's af2 indoor football game, which begins at 7 p.m. at the Toyota Center:

Last week: Stockton lost 57-54 at Boise. Tri-Cities lost 69-22 at Boise.

Series: Stockton leads 4-3.

Last meeting: Stockton beat Tri-Cities 53-37 at home on June 6.

Streaks: Stockton has lost two in a row. Tri-Cities has lost five in a row.

Players to watch: Stockton: QB Chad Cavender (196-345-12-2,345 47 TDs), DB Nathan Kenion (36.5 tackles, 2 INTs). Tri-Cities: QB Colin Drafts (14-24-1-134, 3 TDs), WR Tommy Devereaux (11-133 1 TD).

Of note: Stockton suffered its worst loss in franchise history two weeks ago, falling to Spokane 88-27 ... ranks 15th in scoring offense at 49.7 points per game ... tied for 24th with just seven sacks on the season. ... Tri-Cities will start its third different quarterback - just against Stockton ... ranks last in league in scoring at 30.6 points per game ... has scored less than 30 points in four of its last five games.
