Preview: Tri-Cities Fever vs. Stockton Lightning

Here's a preview of today's Tri-City Fever at Stockton game in af2 indoor football action:

Tri-Cities Fever (1-8) vs. Stockton Lightning (3-6)

Kickoff: 7 p.m., today, Stockton (Calif.) Arena

Last week: Tri-Cities lost 61-20 to Spokane. Stockton won 57-56 at Central Valley.

Last meeting: Tri-Cities beat Stockton 43-42 at Toyota Center on May 9.

Series: Tied 3-3.

Players to watch: Tri-Cities: QB Tomotsuna Inoue (17-31-1-236 3 TDs), WR Finas Rabb (20-189 2 TDs); KR Emery Beckles (6-133). Stockton: QB Chad Cavender (130-221-6-1615 32 TDs), WR Justin Taplin (78-1034 25 TDs).

Of note: Tri-Cities is starting its fourth different quarterback in 10 games ... ranks last in the league in scoring at 31.9 points per game ... has committed a league-high 98 penalties for 750 yards ... has lost eight straight road games. Stockton is 1-3 at home this season ... has the league's best rush defense, allowing 1.8 yards per game ... ranks fourth in the league in pass offense at 275.7 ypg.
