VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- Anthony Aliotti singled home the winning run with two outs in the bottom of the ninth, lifting the Vancouver Canadians to a 6-5 victory over the Tri-City Dust Devils.
The Dust Devils were without Northwest League saves leader Charlie Ruiz, who had closed out the two previous games.
Eric Federico (3-1), who came on to strike out Aliotti for the final out in the seventh, was called upon to get the save.
The first two Canadians reached base in the ninth, and after a sacrifice bunt and an intentional walk, Kent Walton's groundout scored the tying run. Aliotti followed with a line drive to center to bring home Conner Crumbliss.
