Spokane's Joey Butler hit a two-run single to center field off Tri-City Dust Devils reliever Tyler Trice with two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning Thursday night to break a 4-4 tie as the Indians pulled out a 7-4 win at Avista Stadium.
Spokane (47-23) erased a 3-0 fourth-inning deficit to win its fourth straight against the Dust Devils (34-36). The Indians' magic number to clinch the East Division title dropped to one.
Scott Robinson had two RBIs to lead Tri-City.
